What is Kinship Care?
A caring adult, who takes on the fulltime responsibility of raising a child of a relative or friend, when the parents are unwilling or unable to care for them. Kinship caregivers include: grandparents, siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles, godparents, ex-step parents, family friends.
